Another busy week for us and that makes me truly appreciate Project Life even more. We have a lot of birthday parties that we go to, a lot of school events and all those things you do with a busy family life. And I take a ton of pictures at all those events. The problem is that the pictures live on my computer. I'll scrap some of them but it could take months and even longer to print them and get them into an album. With Project Life, those pictures come off my phone and my computer and we have a place for them to go immediately. It's one of the first things my kids notice about Project Life - everyone else gets to see the pictures right away. :) Emily, in particular, runs to see new pictures almost every day.
So, on to Week 6!
Week 6's spread includes two Design A pages plus a 6 x 12 insert.
Page one's spread includes photos and journaling about Tom's trial last week. He had a great experience with this trial and he even journaled about it. It took a little convincing but I'm so glad he did it. :) We also had a nephew turn five, photos from our Sunday volunteering gig, photos of Em and her two aunts that she's now taller than (haha), and photos from Libby's sleepover with her two bffs.
The first page of the insert is my weekly journaling. I used one of Ali's long journalers again. This time, I was out of 12 x 12 paper so I ran a piece of 8.5 x 11 cardstock through the printer and then mounted it on my scrapbooking paper that I cut to 6 x 12.
In the back of the insert, I put the cover of a program from a play the girls and I went to and I also stapled our tickets to it.
The second page is almost completely full of 3 x 4 photos and journaling cards - Libby and Andrew each journaled about their school projects and I put those beside their pictures, a self-portrait of me and Andrew, Em and her friend and then two of Cathy Zielske's tiny templates - one from Andrew and Daddy's night out to see Star Wars 3D and one from our night out at the play with our neighbors.
Some of my favorite moments this week: this photo from Sunday and Tom's journaling.
And this photo of Libby at a sleepover. :)
New hand-drawn brushes from Ali!
And now back to our company and onto Week 7!
