This was the first week in the second album of Project Life. Because my weekly spreads are two pages, I had the front side of one page to fill. So, I used the photos I took on the 4th of July as kind of an introduction page. And I love it. :)
This was the first two-page spread that I've done in about 2 months where I wasn't trying to play catch up. So, I had so much more time to plan. And it allowed me to play with my digi supplies - something that I just didn't have time to do when I was working on 8 weeks worth of layouts at the same time. This layout is so much more me.
This week was such a fun week for us. It was Emily's only week off of freshman gym until August, plus it was a holiday week and Tom took some time off. We turned it into a true staycation and it was just the best!
Page one included weekly journaling, photos from the beach on the 4th of July, Emily's new phone purchase that she saved long and hard for, a family craft activity and a screenshot of the weather. *All digi supplies are linked below in supply list.
Page two included photos from a second day at the beach, some photos from around the house and some of my favorite digi supplies.
Some close-ups of my favorites -
